The Time Shuttle Chronicles

Arcade 2084 is a place that exists in both a fictional world, and the real world we know.

The Time Shuttle Chronicles is an original story upon which Arcade 2084 on Main Street is based. Arcade 2084 the real world place, is also a focal point in the story.

Why a story?

2084 is a project intended to immerse the guest in what it really was like in an arcade in the 80s. Operators in the 80s often created backstories for their arcades. Often sci-fi. A cute mascot or flying saucer- simple. People were content with that.
But this is the future.

Honoring the practice of a backstory at the foundation of 2084, is a narrative that is something richer. A mature and sexy time travel story.

As the creator of Arcade 2084, I am proud to present the Time Shuttle Chronicles.

The year is 2084

Earth is a near-utopia. Scientists, politicians, pop stars -all agree everything's fantastic. Except for one thing: The greatest video arcade games in history, as they were originally experienced, exist only in the past.

That is the point.

Inside Arcade 2084 on Main Street between 2020-2025, visitors experience a blend of immersive entertainment and exceptional service that fully transports the guest across eras to enjoy a vibe previously thought lost in time.

But a vision is nothing without the people who bring it to life. For me, that person is Shana. My partner, and the operational force behind the magic of Arcade 2084.

Shana Nelson, hands-on owner, was the heart of the Main Street location. She handled everything from administration and hiring to bartending and cocktail development. When we were in a bind, she didn't just manage -she stepped behind the bar, her charm and smile making every guest feel welcome, all while running the entire operation. She is the definition of dedication.

Together, we built a real-world "third place" that embodied the spirit of the Time Shuttle Chronicles.

A Message from Mars

My name is Eric "Mars" Milavetz, and I'm the creator of Arcade 2084.

I've spent 25 years in hospitality and tourism, but my passion has always been in the stories we tell and the spaces we create. My studies and experience in political science, in theatre and cinema, taught me that the most powerful truths are found within the framework of fiction, and gave me the technical foundation for immersive world-building: set design, lighting, camera direction, authentic texture construction. This academic training created the "movie set" quality of Arcade 2084: real 80s materials, period-accurate colors, red velvet rope, CRT glow, 80s soundscapes. Guests entered a frame from history they could interact with because it was real.
