At Arcade 2084, club guests experience a real classic 80's arcade- the environment these games were meant to be enjoyed in;
80s music, flourescent blacklight, post-modern textures, lasers, fog, club lighting and era-appropriate details combine with friendly, 80s-style attentive service for unforgettable times.

Arcade 2084's intent in part: Faithfully re-create the actual environment of an 80s arcade. In creating it, no detail was spared.
Operators of arcades in the 80s frequently created a sci-fi theme, and maybe a simple backstory. The elements often informed the motif.
For Willamette Week, unexpected era-accurate environment and narrative depth from what they're sure is merely an arcade, a place they see as mundane, could make any story at its foundation seem "too long" and any narrative or environmental detail seem "needless."
